Praise Jesus!!! I want to start this newsletter by telling you that I am in the Philippines. Please keep everyone at the Refuge House in prayer. Also I want to say I hope and pray that everyone has a Blessed Jesus Birthday with your family and friends and a Healthy, Prosperous, Blessed New Year!
GOSPEL OUTREACH
This month our Lord directed the Refuge House Team to a very small tribal village. There were five families in this little village. Most of them spoke only their tribal language. The Chieftain of the Village allowed us to share with his Village through an interpreter.
Our refuge youth taught the children — again with interpreter — action praise songs and Bible stories. They shared the Good News of Jesus to the small tribe.
After the outreach we cooked the manna pack rice with all the vitamins and minerals the children need to grow healthy and ate. The chieftain was very touched hearing the word of Lord and the showing of the love of Jesus by feeding his children in the tribe. He was very thankful and happy. One of our pastors has volunteered to go back to the tribe to disciple them.
KIDS SCHOOL SPONSORSHIP
Everyone should have received a thank you letter from your Prayer Partner last month. In the event you did not, please email me at lolita83gh@yahoo.com.
Also you should receive a note this month from them. All the children are doing great, and one of the children’s parents was blessed by the Lord to get a very good job. They do not need a sponsor anymore, which means we can help another child!! PRAISE JESUS!
TESTIMONY OF A SPONSORED CHILD
I am Lorenz Ortega and an 8th grade student. I’m so thankful for the goodness of Jesus in my life. I have a wonderful family. My mother is selling fish and sometimes a shellfish. My father is a part-time carpenter and sometimes goes fishing in our little boat.
I am the ninth child in 10 siblings. I have five sisters and four brothers, and there four of us still going to school. Most of my older siblings got married already.
At my young age, I see and experience hard situations every day in our family. The income is not really enough for daily needs, but my parents are doing their best, working all day long so we can eat three times a day.
And we can continue our studies even we could not pay our school fees right away.
Since I have older brother and sister in senior high school, their school needs are priority over mine. It’s fine as long as I can still go to school — until someone invited me to go to church where I met Jesus and decided to accept Jesus to come in my heart and be my saviour.
Everything in my life has changed. Day by day I experience the blessing in my life until I’ve been chosen as one of sponsored student.
That was the great blessing happen in my life, that I could go to school and have all I need in school especially for school fees. I don’t need to ask my mother for my needs in school.
And years pass by, our Lord Jesus is continuing to pour His blessing on my life and for my studies. I am so grateful because I continue to go to school with the help of sponsorship program.
I am so thankful to our heavenly father for the life of Pastor Harrell and Pastora Lolita and to I Am Born Again Ministries for giving me a chance to have Jesus in my life and giving me a chance to continue to go to school, that my needs are being provided.
I’ve been in a youth group in the church. We dance and sometimes I sing to offer to Jesus.
I also teach action song in children’s Bible study, and have house-to-house Bible study so other people will know about Jesus too and experience the goodness of Jesus.

REFUGE HOUSE
Our Sunday service continues to be a blessed time. Wednesday Prayer Warriors is great also. Our Friday night Prayer and Bible study is a special time of learning.
Children’s Bible study and feeding on Saturday is always good. Our Youth Home Bible study, Prayer and Teaching continues to encourage people as our Father has and is answering prayers!! Sunday afternoon Bible study in other villages is going well also. We Praise you Jesus for all you do!

USA MISSION
We have not shared about our work here in the USA in many years, so many of you do not know of it. These last few months we worked with several different churches to smoke Cornish hens and feed widows and elderly and hurting people, and to share the hope we have in Jesus.
We Praise Jesus for Marcia and everyone at Bread of Mighty who our Lord uses to help thousands of people who are hungry! Our Lord used us to help with several recovery programs get food for their meetings - also food for recovery centers and some churches. We were able to bless many brothers and sisters with food and many homeless ones.
Harrell, of course, is always sharing Jesus wherever he goes. When we go somewhere and someone will ask, "how are you?" His answer is real serious, "you really want to know?" They are a little hesitant but most say ok. Then he goes nonstop for several minutes about how blessed he is, and they are either running for the door or they start Praising Jesus too!
IN CLOSING
We just Thank our Father for His faithfulness during this last year. We thank all of you who have been faithful to allow the love of Jesus to flow through you, to be a tremendous blessing to these precious children here in Philippines. This is good ground for sowing, and you are reaping eternal treasures.
At times during the year, we just had to stay strong in His promises knowing that He is faithful, and we will not lack in this good work. He is faithful!! As we close this year of 2017, please pray that the finances for this next year to chase us down, overflowing in abundance to continue to help build our Fathers Kingdom!
We have asked a yearly budget of $60,000 for 2018, but we know that He does more than we can think, believe or imagine! Please be in prayer for us!
Our prayer for you continues to be that our Father will manifest His promises in Psalms 41:1,2,3 in your life, and that 2018 will be the best year you have ever had, that His Favor, Protection, Healing, Provision - and all you have been praying for - will chase you down and overflow in abundance on you now!

Wow, It’s November already! I want to say first, that I hope everyone has a BLESSED THANKSGIVING with family and friends! Really though,I know everyday that we are thankful to our Lord for His blessings!
REFUGE TEAM
Last month the Refuge Team did prayer walks in the next barrio over from the Refuge House. They did many walks during the month praying for salvation for the people, open doors for ministry and proclaiming Jesus is Lord over the area. As they were doing these walks, of course, people would ask them what they were doing. Our Lord gave them opportunities to not only explain what they were doing but also to minister in prayer and to encourage people to seek our Lord Jesus! During these prayer walks, there were not only opportunities to share and minister but also there was some resistance to them being there also.
Deut. 31:6 NIV says, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."
Our Refuge Team did just that - stayed strong and courageous - and our Lord gave them VICTORY! He opened the heart of a person there to allow our Refuge Team to come and do an outreach Bible Study with children at their home. Our team went back and had an outreach, and it was a great time and great blessing! Teaching songs, teaching Bible verses, sharing about Jesus and feeding were all part of the outreach. Approximately 40 kids came, and adults watched from the street. You can watch video of the outreach at:

FEEDING & DISCIPLESHIP IN SCHOOLS
I can not tell you enough how BIG a BLESSING you are for School Sponsorship and Feeding & Discipling in schools. There really is no way to know how many children you have helped save from being terribly harmed in some way! But I KNOW it has been a LOT! This is good ground to sow for a 100-fold harvest! Please pray for financial provisions for both of these ministry areas.
REFUGE HOUSE CHURCH
All members are growing and are being rooted and grounded in God’s Word. They are standing strong in faith and choose to believe God’s Word doing His will. Everyone Loves our service, the Praise, the Worship, Teaching, Prayer and the Peace & Love of Holy Spirit. Thank you for your Prayers!
HOME CHURCHES
Our 11 home church are doing well also. Our youth are really growing while sharing at these home churches. Again Thank you for your Prayers!
I am preparing for my trip to the Refuge House. My ticket is $1,116.46 and then i have to buy ticket to Palawan when i arrive plus some travel expense. Please be in Prayer with me for the financial provision for this trip. I am excited to get back and see what our Lord Jesus will do!

We each have so much of which to be thankful. Even though we go through storms in our life, we still have much to express our thanks.
Many of you just went through a hurricane or tropical storm finding yourself without electricity, water, were inconvenienced, experienced property damage and had much to clean up, you still have a great deal to be thankful and lift Jesus in Praise.
Harrell & I Praise Jesus that all of you, our precious brothers and sisters, are safe and secure in the arms of our loving Father. Even though we do not get to see you as much as we would like to, you are in our thoughts and prayers. We are so thankful to our Father for keeping you safe. Stay strong in Faith knowing we love you very much.
MANY PRAISE REPORTS AGAIN THIS MONTH
We Praise Jesus for Marcia and the Bread of the Mighty for all they have done to help during the storm getting food to people in need and for all the churches who helped get this food to the people.
We praise Jesus for Bronson United Methodist Church who cooked meals for so many hungry as well as the Fellowship Church in High Springs for sheltering people displaced by the flooding. We praise Jesus for all the churches and all the Brothers and Sisters showing the love and compassion of Christ even though we have not heard about all they have done. GOD BLESS YOU ALL, THANK YOU!
We praise Jesus for the Antioch UMC. Their blessing of gifts for the precious children in the Refuge House in Palawan.
We praise Jesus for Marcia and everyone at the Bread of the Mighty for their blessing to the children of Palawan as well. We praise Jesus for our dear brother Andy Cook and Bronson Road Church as they celebrate 17 years of worshiping our Lord. And most importantly we praise Jesus just because HE is worthy to be praised!
REFUGE HOUSE
We praise Jesus for the training of new pastors on how I AM BORN AGAIN MINISTRIES is discipling and teaching in the elementary schools of Palawan. These pastors attended training at the Refuge House and are now putting it into action at the schools.
Another church came and had a God encounter retreat this past month. Many youth were there, and Teresa told us it is always amazing what our Father does whenever a church comes for one of these God encounter retreats. Many surrendered their lives to Jesus and by the end of the retreat, everyone is so full of joy that their faces seem to glow. We give all glory, honor and praise to our Heavenly Father.
Teresa had another "on going training" for all the youth on what they are to do at our many home churches. Our Lord has now given us 11 homes where we are able to share Jesus. Our youth continue to grow in boldness and wisdom on Sharing Jesus and His ways! More people continue to ask for us to come to their home.
Praise Jesus, our first shipment of "Mana Food Pak’s" arrived. Please be in prayer that the 5 missing boxes are found and delivered to the Refuge. ((Prayer Answered 5 Boxes arrived, Praise Jesus! )) Our second shipment of food is in route and will be there hopefully in November.
PRAYER REQUEST
We have 10 boxes of gifts and supplies to ship to the Refuge House. Please be in prayer of agreement for the $700 to ship these 10 boxes in JESUS Name. A-MEN
We receive reports about teachers in many schools in the Refuge House area who know about our feeding and discipling in other schools. They are having their children pray that we will come and start a discipling and feeding in their schools. Our Father owns it all and nothing is too hard for Him! Please Pray in agreement for a huge financial blessing to disciple and feed more of these precious hungry children in JESUS Name. A-MEN
IN CLOSING
My heart is so thankful to our Lord for all He does every day in everyone of our lives. I am overwhelmed with gratitude and love for everyone of you. I Thank Him daily for each and every one of you, for who you are, and for the love of Jesus that flows through you. You truly are a vessel that our Father works through here upon this earth. SEVERAL PRAISE REPORTS
Great praise report! Our Lord Jesus is faithful. We have received the financial funding to ship the food containing all the vitamins and minerals that malnourished children need. Our Lord Jesus says that we will not lack in doing any good thing. We thank our Father in Heaven and praise our Lord Jesus Christ for everyone's heart He touched allowing us to make this shipment. We know that He is storing in heaven a great treasure for you because of the love and compassion of Jesus expressed in your giving.
In Psalms 41:1, 2, 3. it says, "Blessed is he who helps the poor." It goes on to give several promises that our Father in heaven brings to pass when we help the poor. Helping these beautiful precious children activates the promises that our Father is giving you. Praise Jesus! Thank you and God bless you!
Another great praise report! Praise Jesus! We received approximately 100 School lunch boxes. They were handpainted with lots of different things such as: Jesus loves you, Jesus saves, pictures of crosses, Bible verses, pictures of doves, etc.
These were done this summer at Antioch United Methodist Church during their Vacation Bible school by the children attending.
The lunch boxes are so precious and will be a tremendous blessing to the children at the Refuge and the tribes. In case you don't remember two years ago, the same church Bible school painted tennis shoes to send to the children. They were so colorful, and the children were so excited to get them! Last year they painted backpacks for the children, and it was a big blessing also.
We praise Jesus for the wonderful brothers and sisters at Antioch United Methodist Church. Thank you and God bless you! The same church is having Christmas in August this year as they collect presents for the precious children of Palawan. We will collect and send these to the Refuge House sometime this month. They are a Great Blessing. The Love of Jesus flows from everyone at Antioch United Methodist Church.

Great Praise Report from one of the Refuge House Students, Ezekiel. He has been with us for several years, and He has a tremendous testimony of how our LORD JESUS has worked in his life. He is in 8th grade, and his teacher called him up to the front of the class to share about what JESUS has done for him. Many of the kids knew him from when he was very young and were amazed at what our LORD has done for and through him. Ezekiel told Teresa to tell us , He was Glad and Thankful to our Lord Jesus for giving him the courage and Boldness to share about Jesus to the whole 8th grade.
Ezekiel also is so thankful to the LORD for giving him boldness to share at the home Bible study where he shares to both adults and youth. In Jeremiah, the LORD said to Jeremiah, "Do not say you are too young!" Ezekiel was very excited about his first time sharing at school. Please Continue to pray for him and all of the children at the Refuge House.

NOTE FROM OUR SCHOOL BUS DRIVER
Doy Doy, or bus driver, sent a thank you note to us. It said, "Thank you for letting me be the school bus driver. I am so blessed listening to the kids praying & singing every day on the way to school. It is a great start for the day! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!"
Doy Doy is right. It is a great way to start our day - praying and praising! We are so thankful to our Lord Jesus for Doy Doy. He takes EXCELLENT care of the Yellow School Bus and also the Big White Kia Truck. He is a very safe driver, and he is so good with the kids. They love him very much!
PERSONAL NOTE

Please continue to pray for my home island Mindanao as the fighting there continues against the muslim terrorists. The island is still under martial law.
Also please pray for one of our main pastors who They are threatening.We also asked everyone to pray for protection for the Refuge and everyone there. Our island of Palawan is now under a red alert, as well as other islands, due to communist guerrillas also attacking police and government troops because of the martial law. We praise Jesus for his protection !!!
GREAT PRAISE REPORT
Every Friday afternoon where our Refuge students go to high school, the senior students do not have class. The teachers have asked our Youth to teach a Bible study. Praise Jesus, our Lord Jesus has opened the door to Share Jesus and disciple in the high school every Friday afternoon! Praise Jesus! Praise Jesus! Praise Jesus! The light of our Lord Jesus is shining brighter and brighter through our youth!!
MISSION HERE IN USA
We were Blessed to help Mission to Reach Ministry in Texas With Brother Chocko and also Brother Doug in North Georgia as they did a outreach along the Border in Texas. They ministered in a very poor area Preaching the Gospel and Feeding!
REFUGE CHURCH MEMBERS GIVING
Praise Jesus! Even though the members of the Refuge church do not have money, they have learned to give. Some members give fish, some bananas, some coconuts, some vegetables, some firewood, some root crops. And even though it's raining they try their best to attend Church, Bible study and Prayer meeting.
SHIPPING FOOD
Praise Jesus! We were able to ship seven boxes this month and have five more boxes ready to ship. PRAISE JESUS we only need $2170.00 to ship the rest of the food. Please Pray for the Provision to ship more food this month for the feeding in the schools to the hungry children. Thank you, Jesus, for your Provision!!
CHRISTMAS GIFTS

Praise Jesus, last month we received several beautiful dolls from a precious sister in Ocala Fl to give to girls who have never had a gift before.
Praise Jesus Our Lord Jesus blessed us with lots of gifts, school supplies, clothes and stuffed animals from Isaiah 6:8 ministries. Dear brother Mike Rickenberg does lots of great ministries for our Lord Jesus. He does a Full Bold Vision Adventure Kayaking Trip in Beautiful St. Mary's Georgia for donations. All proceeds support Isaiah 6:8 missions projects. His kayaking trips are for groups of 6 to 12 people. You can contact brother Mike for more information at 912-322-2198.
SCHOOL SPONSORSHIP
It's rainy season right now, and the sponsored children are so thankful that they do not have to walk 5 to 6 kilometers in the mud and in the rain. The multi cab school bus is running great, and the kids, sing, pray and practice their Bible verses on the way to high school. After dropping the high school students, the school bus driver, Doy Doy, picks up the little ones going to the elementary school.
If you saw the video we sent to our email list, you can see the little ones, they are just Precious!! These little ones are the next age group that are now being discipled by the Refuge team and youth. Making disciples for our Lord Jesus Christ continues on and Growing!! Praise and Glory be to our Father! Thank you, Jesus! Thank you, Holy Spirit!
FEEDING AND DISCIPLESHIP
In schools, the principals and teachers at the schools are so thankful. They report that there is 100% attendance when we have the feeding days at their school. That is because the children know they're going to get a good nourishing meal. Every time these principals, teachers, parents and children say, "Thank you, Lord Jesus," we are buying gold tried in the fire. We are being rewarded with treasures in heaven! Thank you & God bless you!!!
IN CLOSING
I am so thankful to our Lord Jesus for all the things He is doing in the life of our brothers and sisters in the Lord. In every testimony at the Bible studies, we hear how God is answering their prayers. As they seek Him first, and obey His word, honoring our Father, their faith is growing, their hope is growing and their love is growing.

Please be in prayer for my home island Mindanao. As the fighting continues there many people are being hurt. My island is under martial law and we pray for all the thousands of people we have ministered to on the island well be safe.
SCHOOL SPONSORSHIP
School has started back and we want to thank every one of you from the depth of our heart who are helping to sponsor a child. We have several individuals continuing their sponsorship this year and we are asking that everyone please pray with us for our Lord to speak to others to help with the sponsorship of a child.
DISCIPLESHIP AND FEEDING IN SCHOOLS
As school has started we are now busy feeding and discipling. For all the school children, I am so very thankful the children are able to have a meal with all the vitamins and minerals a child needs. Jesus said that if you give something to eat to one of the least of these His little ones-you have given it to Him ! Thank you for all your help to feed these little ones of Jesus!
SHIPPING THE FOOD
Praise Jesus -we have already paid for our first shipment of food out of Minnesota. The day after we made that payment our Lord Jesus blessed us with the food for our second shipment through Miss Marsha and the Bread of the Mighty Food Bank. We praise Jesus for Miss Marsha and everyone there, as they help so many people in a multitude of places. They are truly a blessing too many, many people.
We now have approximately 7500 pounds of food to ship. Praise Jesus that we have a place to store the food temporarily. We have to repack the food into the 43 shipping boxes. The boxes cost $70.00 each to ship: A total of $3010.00. Please be in prayer for the provisions to ship the food. As the Lord provides the shipping fees we will ship. Praise Jesus that we have a place to temporary store while we do this. Praise Jesus our Father does exceedingly abundantly more than we can think or imagine.
In the Philippines there are lots of diseases carried by mosquitoes, malaria, dinghy, etc. We were blessed with a big supply of OFF mosquito repellent to send to the children. We praise our Lord and Savior Jesus for all that He does for his precious little kids.
CHURCH SERVICE TESTIMONY
At one of our Sunday services a 27 year old man name Salvadore and having epilepsy since he was a kid, came the first time to church with his mother and asked for prayer. We shared with them about how much the father loves them. How he made a way for us to be reconciled back to Him through repentance and believing in the one the Father had sent; our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; and how through His blood we could be back in right relationship with the Father. The Lord open their hearts to Believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God. We had the whole congregation lay hands upon them and pray for complete healing and freedom from the work of the enemy in Salvador’s life. Please continue to pray for Salvador.
OUTREACH TESTIMONY
We received a report that the following day after we left from a time of preaching Jesus on the island last month, many believed on Jesus as their Lord and Savior. The fisherman started catching lots of fish. Before we arrived with the message of Jesus’ love they had not been catching any fish. The people on the island were so excited they sent several messages about catching fish. Praise Jesus!
PERSONAL NOTE
In closing please be in prayer for the provisions we desire for the school sponsorship and shipping the food. This is very good ground for a hundredfold harvest. We always pray that you will continue to receive a great harvest and blessings to your account. Thank you for your faithfulness to help build the kingdom of God in Palawan . We praise our Lord Jesus Christ and we are so Thankful to our Heavenly Father for all that He does. We are so thankful for the training course that our Youth took this month. It was a great help and a big blessing. Teresa, mom Vergie and the Youth started 3 Home Bible studies with 3 different groups every Saturday. They are so thankful for the encouragement everyone gets from the testimonies of people having their prayers answered. Some are healed of their hurts and release forgiveness, some are healed from their sickness, and some are blessed in other ways. Our Lord has blessed this and we now have 7 Home Bible studies every Saturday. Thank you Lord Jesus!
TESTIMONY
One of the new home Bible Studies-Prayer meetings is at a widow’s home named Nita. She is 60+ years old and her husband died last year. She had been sick and could not walk for a month. The youth visited her to start a home Bible Study. Even though her knees were very swollen and in a lot of pain she was very happy. The Youth laid their hands on her and prayed. A week later when they came she was healed, doing her house chores and walking. The people around her home were all amazed at how our Father healed her. Thank you Jesus for the healing!
OUTREACH
This month our Lord laid on Teresa’s heart to return to the Muslim Island that Pastor Harrell had taken Mom Joyce Igo to about two years ago. This is the place Pastor Harrell unknowingly walked into a group of Muslims from Pakistan. This is the Place that had one Christian woman on the whole Island who told Mom Joyce Igo, with tears in her eyes, she had been praying 25 years for someone to preach the gospel. At first Teresa felt in her heart fear but the Lord burdened her heart there were many that needed to know Jesus. This is her Experience:
We traveled across the main island to get on a boat to ride to the Muslim Island. We arrived just before dark and everyone was staring at us and we spent the night in a very small bamboo hut. In the morning as we cooked the macaroni and cheese we went house to house inviting people to come. As we started doing our activity I feel peace and happiness in my heart as children, mothers, Youth, Young and old started coming.
I see the smiles on their faces. Many Believe that Jesus is the son of God. We gave some jump ropes, pencils to the girls and some balls to the boys. We invited everyone to a fellowship in the afternoon, I was so amazed that afternoon as many more came and were excited. Jackielou taught Bible stories and action songs for children. That night young Muslim boys came and asked to hear the story of Jonah and the big fish that had been told that morning: mom Vergie shared the story.
We are so thankful for the wonderful work that our Lord Jesus is doing on the Island. I Praise our Heavenly Father for his goodness and the protection we experience. We felt peace and the joy of the Lord in our heart seeing many people Believe that Jesus is the son of God: That they have started a relationship with their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We give all Glory, Honor and Praise to our Heavenly Father for everything he has done on the island.
One other thing of interest, we were told that after Pastor Harrell and mom Joyce Igo preach the gospel and left the island, within the hour all the Pakistan Muslims got into boats and left. When I shared this with Pastor Harrell he said "Praise Jesus, one plants, another waters, and God gives the increase!"
YOUTH TESTIMONY
Several of our youth committed to go several weeks to learn how to play different instruments. On one of the days of practice, all the kids in the barrio were going swimming. One of our youth Sammy wanted to go with them really bad. The night before he prayed about whether to go swim go to practice. That night he had a dream that all of his friends were in the pool calling to him "help me Sammy". The next day he went to practice. We shared with him about the apostle Paul in Acts 16:9, 10
REFUGE HOUSE
This month we had 2 Child dedications and one water baptism, Praise Jesus. Also a church in town had "Encounter Jesus" Retreat here. They were so blessed and thankful to have the opportunity to experience the peace and the holy presence of the Lord in the Refuge. Praise Jesus one of the members blessed us with fish to eat.

WHY THE SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM?
Many poor families find it hard to send their children to school. Therefore, some families send their children away from home to be what is called a "working student."
Unfortunately, these children are required to work in exchange for the cost of their school expenses. Children who become working students are sometimes exploited and end up in horrible situations. Then there are other children that just do not go to school at all and work to help feed their families.
Because of the hardships we have witnessed, I Am Born Again Ministries is committed to helping as many children as possible receive an education and a chance to better their lives.
CONNECTING STUDENTS WITH SPONSORS
We teach our children to pray daily for everyone who is a part of I Am Born Again Ministries and the Sponsorship Program. We also assign each child a specific individual (prayer partner) they can identify with as helping to provide for their schooling and these children are daily praying for their Sponsors.
In the same way we ask you, the Sponsor, to pray specifically for the same child who is praying for you. In this way, it gives you a connection with one individual child who is being sponsored, as your contribution goes to help support that child.
All children in our sponsorship program are required to attend church and be active in church related activities. They must be in attendance in school and doing their best to have good grades.
OUR SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM
We offer two levels of sponsorship:
Gold sponsorship of $600 / year or $50 / month
Silver sponsorship of $300 / year or $25 / month
In order to meet the needs of as many children as possible, sponsorship donations are placed in a special "sponsorship fund" and are distributed to each child according to his or her needs.
These needs include:
- Tuition and PTA fees,
- school uniforms (required for all children),
- transportation were possible,
- rain coat and/or umbrella,
- school supplies (including school projects),
- snacks,
- misc. school related items.
- School bus maintenance,
- bus driver,
- gas and our school coordinators who are in contact with the teachers and student advisors to ensure the students are doing what they need to do as well as making sure all of their needs are met
- meals,
- clothing,
- hygiene items shelter,
- and love.

We ask each of you to prayfully consider joining with us in this great effort.
If, and only if your conversation with God is affirmative, then we ask you to provide us with your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, and indicate the level of participation you desire: Gold or Silver, annually or monthly, and return to I Am Born Again Ministries in the return envelope. We will then provide you with a picture of your sponsored child/prayer partner.

Below is a testimony of one of our children:
I am Lorene, 15 years old, and I would like to share my life testimony how our Heavenly Father works in me. I feel very hurt since I was a little kid, I suffer from bullying for having a harelip. I was full of hatred, and I don't have any friends. Nobody likes me. I could not found any confident and happiness in my heart. Because of that, my heart is full of anger, and I could not help it and I don't want to forgive. But since I stay at Refuge House, being one of the sponsor child, I found Jesus. I accept Him as my personal savior. As time pass by little by little, by reading His word, singing heavenly song and everyday prayer, Our Lord Jesus heal my heart and my life. People around me at Refuge House is always teaching me, mentoring me and motivating me. By the grace of our Heavenly Father, I learned to forgive and give a smile to other people. I want to thank our Lord Jesus Christ for your life for being so kind to me. Because of your kindness and being generous, I found salvation from our Lord Jesus Christ. As I continue serving our heavenly Father, His love is flowing in my heart I found friends and I am able to share the love of Jesus to other people and to my family. Thank you and God Bless you.

We are so thankful to be back here in the USA. It is so good just to get to see everyone and we hope to get to see all of you in the coming month!
We Praise our Lord Jesus Christ for His Love and Mercy that endureth forever. It’s always a great opportunity to give all the Glory and Honor & Praise to the One we serve: Our Great and Wonderful Savior, our Lord Jesus Christ for all the Wonderful and Marvelous things that we experience and the victory of every circumstance that we face in our everyday life!
His word says that We must focus on Jesus, the Source and Goal of our Faith and always Trusting His Word. We can do all things through our Lord Jesus Christ as we continue serving and doing things for His Kingdom. We are so thankful for everything because through His word and Promises we can have the strength to reach more people and bring them to our Lord Jesus.
By teaching everyone and letting each one see the Goodness and Love of our Heavenly Father and encouraging each other to "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness and all things will be added to us."
Sometimes this seems really impossible because of the situations that we encounter,
BUT nothing is impossible with God. Because His Holy Spirit is in us, we are Thankful even in a small thing. We are so glad and our Hearts are full of Joy of our Lord Jesus Christ and we are so Thankful to our Heavenly Father for Your Life, Thank You for all the Prayers and for being so Kind. We experience the Goodness of our Lord Jesus Christ through Your Prayers and Support for I Am Born Again Ministries.
GOSPEL OUTREACH TESTIMONY:
While we were doing a gospel outreach in one of the tribes, one of the leaders of a small group of Christians there in the tribe shared with us that he needed prayer and encouragement. He had heard about the good news of Jesus and believed. Since he believed, he shared everywhere about his testimony when Jesus came into his heart. The problem he had was he couldn’t read. The people in his tribe were saying "how can you tell us about Jesus when you can’t read the Bible." Becoming very discouraged, he did not want to be a leader. When we had asked people to come forward who wanted to receive Jesus and whoever wanted prayer, he came forward and shared how hurt and disappointed he was. It was very moving. After he shared, with tears running down his face, he got down on his knees and asked for prayer. We went to him and prayed that our Father would give him the desires of his heart. After praying, we just talked to him, encouraging him and telling him to just read the Bible in Faith even though he didn’t know the words.A few weeks later, the pastor that goes to this tribe came to the Refuge House and told us how he had visited the tribe and that everyone there was astonished that this man was now able to read the Bible — that the Lord had supernaturally allowed him to read. There was great excitement and wonder with everyone in the tribe. The pastor himself had great astonishment! Please Read: Acts 4:13-14. In the case of this Tribal leader who was uneducated and couldn’t read, Our Lord answered his Prayer to be able to read.
DISCIPLING & FEEDING IN SCHOOLS
Praise Jesus, our Lord Jesus has blessed us with the money to send our first shipment of food for next year. Please pray that we are able to ship by the end of this month.
SCHOOL SPONSORSHIP
School will end April 7 and will resume first week of June. You should receive a letter from your prayer partner before the end of this month. In the event that you do not receive a letter please contact us. We will be in contact with you sometime during this month. Again we just want to say, what a Tremendous Blessing you are to these children.

I praise our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for His bountiful blessings this month. We have been extremely busy doing our Lord’s work, going on outreaches preaching the gospel, giving Christmas gifts, discipling in the schools, feeding hungry children, encouraging in churches, and just going everywhere sharing Jesus and praying for people.
GOSPEL OUTREACHES
Many, many people have received the Lord Jesus Christ — both adults and children on our outreaches. At one outreach in the tribes, a Muslim chieftain came to the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Usually when a chieftain receives Jesus, most of or all of his tribe do also. We have no information at this time how many of his tribe received.
DISCIPLING AND FEEDING THE KIDS
It is such a privilege and a blessing to be able to disciple these children in the schools. They continue to grow spiritually: Not only the children, but the parents also who come to listen. Teachers, parents, and students are so blessed because of the food. They are better students when they have food in their little stomachs.
CHRISTMAS GIFTS AND BICYCLES
When we gave the gifts & bicycles in the tribes, the parents and the children were just in astonished wonderment on how this could be. Because the presents were late getting here, it made a perfect opportunity when sharing Jesus that it is the love of Jesus, working through you — not just at a certain time of year, but all year long. That His love and His mercy and compassion and blessings are every day.
REFUGE HOUSE
We have three people at the Refuge House that have completed their Pastor training this month. I am so blessed that one of them is my dear sweet Jackielou. Some of you may remember that Jackielou’s father brought her to the Refuge House about eight years ago. She has been with us ever since then. She is my little girl, and I’m so thankful to the Lord for her. A Youth Leader, Praise & Worship Leader (Who other Churches borrow from time to time to train others ) and now at the age of 16 has completed Pastoral school, and she plans to continue with pastoral studies! I Just PRAISE JESUS!
PRAISE REPORT
Praise Jesus! At last report, we have $1500.00 of the $2400.00 needed to ship the first shipment of food for the discipleship and feeding in schools for next year. Harrell is busy getting the shipment ready. Please continue to pray for the provisions.

We hope and pray that everyone had a great and wonderful Jesus Birthday and are excited about the New Year. We pray the blessings of our Father will flow down abundantly upon you in this New Year!
Praise Jesus, All the boxes with the Christmas gifts have arrived, Thank you Jesus!
We have started giving the gifts in different schools , in tribal area, here at the refuge and other places. The Children are so happy and so excited to receive a gift. We also have around 40 bicycles that we are giving. We are going to many different areas in the tribes and giving a few bicycles at each area. This is such a tremendous blessing to receive a Bicycle & a Gift. These children would have never been able to own a Bicycle. They are so Thankful and lots of times they find it hard to believe that someone that they do not know would give them a gift. It makes it really easy to share with them how much our Father in Heaven Loves them and that the love of his son Jesus flows through You, which causes you to give a gift and bicycle to a child that has nothing.
Also the Colorful Backpacks for the children has caused lots of excitement and joy. Last year when you gave the Colorful Shoes, all the teachers at school said, "Wow you have very colorful shoes." We will see what they say when they go to school with the Beautiful Backpacks!
DISCIPLING AND FEEDING
We are having a Blessed time sharing and teaching Jesus at the school and then feeding the precious hungry children. My sister Ruby is also helping with the discipleship this year. She really encourages them to be very strong in faith and that one day He is coming back to get us! We really have a very good strong team that go to the schools along with pastors who live in the area of the schools. Praise Jesus for all these men and women of God!
We're still feeding around 15,000 meals a month, and we have enough food to last to the end of this school year. We will need to send our first shipment of food in April for the next school year. Please be in prayer for the $2400 that we need to ship the food. Thank you and God bless you!
SCHOOL SPONSORSHIP
I hope everyone received a letter from their prayer partner last month. Please email me if you did not receive it. All the children are doing great at school, and they are so Thankful and Blessed for the love of Jesus that flows through You! We are so Thankful that none of our children had to be sent away from home to go to school!! We think our Father in Heaven and Praise Jesus for you!!
YOUTH
Praise Jesus, our youth did another outreach in the market, giving tracks, sharing about Jesus, and praying with people. They're getting more confident and bolder in sharing their faith in Jesus Christ! They had a great time, and then afterwards, they went to the park and played and had some snacks!! They had so much fun!! Please pray with us for provisions to buy the same colored shirts for them to wear when they are on these outreaches. They had their youth evangelical night at the refuge and spent the whole evening, praising, giving testimonies, praying, and having fellowship together. These youth are growing very much in the knowledge of the Lord!
GOSPEL OUTREACH
No man comes unless the Father draws him. We continue to see our Father drawing people to himself as we go on these gospel outreaches! It is so heart touching after sharing the love of Jesus to see people respond to the drawing of the Holy Spirit, that they feel the need to repent and be reconciled back to their Father in heaven, through the precious blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
PERSONAL NOTE
Harrell & I have prayed and decided to sell our home in Ocala. We decided that some of the money could be better put to use in the ministry here helping these precious poor children. We are not sure at this time where we will stay while we are in USA but trusting our Lord that He knows! We will miss all our wonderful brothers and sisters that we met in Ocala, and we hope that we will be able to visit you when we are in the USA!

REFUGE HOUSE
On December 8th
We had our Thanksgiving celebration. Wow it was a great time in our Lord Jesus ! Many pastors and members from different churches came to help us celebrate with thanksgiving to our Lord Jesus Christ.
Pastor Samuel from Brooks Pointe was the guest speaker. Pastor Odgie's praise team from Narra, led the praise and worship. We worshiped for almost two hours and the youth worshiped our Lord Jesus with several dances. Our little ones also worshiped the Lord with a dance of their own. It was really a great time of praise and worship for our Lord Jesus Christ. Everyone brought something to eat, coconut, rice, banana, eggplant, beans, noodles, sticky rice, fish, chicken, potatoes, and many other types of food. We had a really big feast after the service!
On December 20-26
We had a two hour prayer activity each day. All the youth and kids stayed here the entire time. We had praise, worship, and sharing about our Lord Jesus and we prayed for every family who came to our activity with their prayer request . We also pray for each of your prayer requests; all of us praying and thanking our Heavenly Father for all we had experienced during 2016. Also thanking our Heavenly Father for all the favor and His goodness for the year of 2017. We pray by faith and thanking our Lord Jesus Christ for the life of every one who is part of I Am Born Again Ministry...
On Dec 26 to 28
A group from Zion church had their camp meeting here at the Refuge House. We are so thankful to our Lord Jesus that everyone who came experienced the joy of the of our Heavenly Father and they are so happy and thankful that they found such a peaceful area and felt the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ. There were around 50 people who came. Everyone was very happy and they said they are looking forward to coming again to do some more of their camp meetings. They are so grateful for the experience that they had here at Refuge House...
We always thank our FATHER for the wisdom and for His great help for us, so we can be able to share His love and great promises for His children who continually seek Him. Most of the youth can now share the love of Jesus as they continue their weekly activity. Every Sat. we have four different bible studies and cottage prayers.
On Sunday we have church service and we have one bible study and cottage prayer in the afternoon. At every bible study and cottage prayer we have four youth who go to each one and they are the ones to do and lead the activity. After that they offer some help to the people by doing something for the Lord; cleaning the house, cleaning yard, getting water, etc.
We also continue our bible study and prayer meeting at refuge house. We continue to seek and thank our Lord Jesus Christ for all the goodness and all the blessing and continue to offer and ask our Heavenly Father for the answer of all the prayer request in our prayer box that you send.
CHRISTMAS GIFT GIVING
Our Christmas gift giving this year will be late due to the fact that some of our boxes were held up in customs because of some problem at the port authority. Hopefully they will be sent to the refuge soon. Please pray that they get there as soon as possible.
We will wait until all the presents are here to give the bicycles. We did get a few boxes and gave gifts at some at some elementary schools.
